Follies & Folderol
Miscellaneous ideas and projects that refuse to fit into any of the other galleries. Enjoy!
A delightful house by C.F.A. Voysey for his brother, unfortunately unbuilt. Sketchup model and renderings.
A fun exercise, which I have sent to the Muni for their comment and, hopefully, adoption.
A graphic I created from a digital model I built, available purchase in various formats from RedBubble. 2021
Front view. Wood, illustration board, PETG, mdf mouldings, paint. For Sale. Inquire through the contact page if interested. Debra Stringfellow photos.
View with panels opened. The painted mdf liners of the rooms pull out like little drawers. Interior decoration is not in my scope of work!
3/4 view.
3/4 view showing the chimney stacks. The side elevations were designed on the computer, printed up, and adhered like wallpaper. I like the conceit of a front elevation that has three dimensions, side elevations that are 2-d, and a back elevation that is blank.
A graphic created from a digital model I built, of a project by Mackintosh. Available to purchase on RedBubble. 2021
A progress image. It's not complete yet. I call this one Villa Serliana because of the details. This is 1/16 scale but future builds will be at 1/12, which is the conventional scale for these types of houses.
